Exporting/Printing Fgu character sheets for real world tabletop play.

I've been looking through a number of forum posts and videos but I have a limited amount of prep time available so I thought I would just ask the question.

I have a one off live/in person game coming up for my current 5e campaign and I'm trying to figure out how to get my players access to their character sheets either via paper printed character sheets or perhaps using Dnd Beyond.

Which brings me to the questions... I've seen a couple of posts about printing character sheets but I'm not sure if it's something integral in FGU or requires an extra module or extension or something?

Otherwise I've seen some posts about how to import a character from Dnd Beyond but nothing about potentially exported one to Dnd Beyond....I've exported all the characters' XML files but I'm not sure what to do with them from there.


Hoping someone has the magic answer/link I need..

There’s no native way to print out a character sheet and there’s not a way to import into D&D beyond.

You "could" take a screenshot and print that out. But it might be blurry when printing out.

Thanks... I tried the FGcharacterprinter and it sort of works. Only gives me a single page sheet but my players have too many items in their inventories to fit in the equipment field so the result is a bit of a mess.
