Greetings,

I have years of experience with PF1e and I am trying to convert my group from 5e (nothing to do with the OGL drama).

I can see that the Sneak Attack effect is applied to the test rogue that I made. However, when I start a new combat, the extra damage does not seem to apply to NPCs that should be flat footed (have not had a turn yet). The rogue is using a rapier.

What am I missing? I'm sure it's something simple.

TIA

[edit] looks like my understanding of flat footed needs updating. Back to the books

Yea. First off, characters are not flat-footed simply for not acting yet. Also, Pathfinder 2 and Fantasy Grounds both are reliant on keywords. So, an enemy must have the flat-footed effect on it in the combat tracker for it to trigger the rogue's sneak attack on damage rolls.

Yea, I played around with things for a while and figured it out. Thank you for the response.
