I am learning through tutorials on how to use Fantasy Grounds Unity. Some of the videos mention the "magic item forge." I currently have the Core Rule book, Game Masters Guide and Bestiary 1 for Pathfinder 1e. I am not seeing the magic item forge when I click on items in FG. Does it still exist for unity or only in classic? If it is in FGU where is it located and or what book would I need to get to get access to it?

Thank You,

Ruleset dependent, I would think.

For instance, with FGU, for D&D 5E, Items -> Forge brings it up.

THe magic item forge is only in the 5e ruleset. It's not something that's available in Pathfinder.

Thank you for answer. That is a bummer that it is not for Pathfinder 1e. It would give a lot more options for players to create alternate versions of ring of protections, cloak of resistances, ability bonus items and much more.

All that can be created manually in PF, but just not with a graphical interface.

There is a somewhat hidden magic item forge in 3.5E/PF1; there is an item template which you can drag&drop on items to create new items :) But I never use it so that I always have to look it up; here are two Discord messages about these subjects: https://discordapp.com/channels/274582899045695488/274582899045695488/678699292189261864 and here https://discordapp.com/channels/274582899045695488/274582899045695488/678701678572077087 :)

(If you do not have Discord, let me know, then I can copy the essential information)

But honestly, as long as you do not need to create similar items very often, then just do it manually :)

Even if it were available in PF1 players can't create items; only the DM can create things.
