Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

Maybe a little curious question, but I would like to knw if the PC game "Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous" does use Pathfinder ruleset as used here ?
Absolutely sure that there are some aspects that will be tabletop specific, but related to spells, abilities ...is it the same or something totally diffrent ?
Just wonder if playing Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous would give me knowledge for the version here ...

It's based on Pathfinder first edition, not second edition. It might help to give you some knowledge of Pathfinder first edition, but not enough to learn the system IMO.
