Error Theme - Western
Hello community! I have the FG Western Theme from Steam. But the error seems to me in icons. I believe it's the menu icons on the right. How could I solve the problem?

You don't, it'll need to be done at Smiteworks end. I'll make sure that the right people get informed.

This won't fix your issue - but don't load more than one theme - you have the Western and Wood theme loaded.

Wow...hadn't seen it loaded together. Oh my god... hahaha

I disabled the Theme Wood, but the error persists.

Yep, I mentioned that it won't fix your issue.

You can ignore the error until it's fixed. There's an issue with the indicator_prompt icon. I don't know which ruleset the indicator_prompt icon is used in. Doing a quick check it's not used in CoreRPG, 5E or PFRPG2. So, depending on which ruleset you're using the impact could be zero (other than the annoying error popping up).

Hum interesting! I will check.

I tried it on FATE and MorCore. Both also appear the same error.

Every ruleset will raise an error - because the theme itself has an incorrect setting for the indicator_prompt icon. As I said, that icon isn't used in most rulesets and so the error can be ignored.

Ok... the error can be ignored and nothing changes. So which set does it belong to? They should have at least described it in the Steam ad. Since it is paid, at least it should work in full.

It's a bug, which will need to be fixed. You don't describe bugs in a Steam advert paid or not. As Trenloe says the theme is available across many rulesets. Themes are generally ruleset agnostic.

Thanks for reporting. I'll queue an update for next week's weekly update.

I didn't say that the ideal is to put an error in the ad. I said that the ideal would be to describe which sets it is suitable for. I will report the bug.

In post #2 Zacchaeus said that the issue would be passed on to those who can fix it.

The rest of the thread was giving you more information about the problem and letting you know you can ignore the error until it's fixed. Nowhere did I, or others, say that it was due to an incompatibility. All we were saying was that it's an issue, but you can ignore the error until it's fixed as the issue will only impact a very small subset of rulesets. No need for changing Steam descriptions.

Moon Wizard has since said that this will be fixed.

Summary: it's a bug, it'll be fixed, until it's fixed you can ignore the error.

Most themes wont work all that well in MoreCore as I used a bunch of non standard frames and elements. Some work better than others.

I randomly tried it and just shared it. Stay calm. Let's wait for the update. Thanks for everyone's concern. Happy New Year!

There was an update and the error screen on opening disappeared. However, I don't see a problem, but I noticed that the menu icons on the right do not match the illustrative images that are on Steam. Are different. I'm using CoreRPG.

The images on Steam are a bit out of date. The menu items on the right now look like the ones in the video about dice that's on Steam.

In my opinion, the reference images on Steam are much prettier, but ok! Thanks.

This is true however anytime you ran any extensions that added sidebar buttons they would not have the theme buttons and if you ran a community ruleset with the theme you would likely have many missing/incorrectly themed sidebar elements. The new Sidebar although not as pretty is much more likely to give you an always consistent look. It is a tradeoff and they have erred on the side of functionality.

Hmmmm... good to know that! Thanks. But I'm happy anyway. The theme is beautiful overall.
