Hello, so long story short the players have mounts, I don't wana edit the mounts when ever one of them makes it stronger (adding armour, training etc). I already made the mounts, I don't want to recreate them as characters, besides that will make the character tab cluttered. Is there any way to just GIVE them full control of an NPC sheet.

Not in combat, I know how to let them move pegs on a map.

I would like to give player A, mount 1 so that A can edit 1 when ever they want.

Create them as PCs. Players can control more than one PC.

For mounts, https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/170/view -- the free extension "Friend Zone" seems very appropriate.

Friend Zone adds support for companions of any sort.

On the character sheet, the Logs tab contents have been relocated to the bottom of the Notes tab, and in its place a Cohorts tab has been created. Simply drag in any NPC to the Cohorts list on this new tab to give the PC a companion. Any cohorts that are added to the CT from the character sheet will be fully controllable by the player, including advancing turn on the CT, and token movement and vision on the map. Further, the cohort will be fully linked on the CT, so changes made to either the CT entry or the NPC sheet will be reflected on the other, same as PCs.

Welcome to the forums.

Players can't edit NPCs, or indeed anything else apart from their character sheets. Everything else is owned by the DM even when shared with players. So, either make them as player characters or as noted use the Friends Zone extension which will allow NPCs to be edited by players.
