Hi There! I am attempting to light a map. I have all the walls up already for LOS and it is turned on, but I choose ambient lighting and it does nothing. I try to hide and reveal since my map has indoor and outdoor and there is no change other than now my map is permanently hard for me to see. I can't make it bright again, I laid down light tokens and those don't work, I am very frustrated. I've watched about four tutorials and I think I'm doing everything they are and still all I have is a dark map.

Welcome to the forums.

Your main layer is set to DM only view (eye icon next to the layer name). Make that layer visible to all by clicking on the eye icon.

That is a bit odd. Here's some things to try.
First, deselect both tokens. What you see is affected by having a token selected, even when the player vision preview is toggled off, even when in edit mode.
Make sure the token is on the map, not in the empty area outside the map. That will make the map go black or gray.
Move the tokens to force a redraw. Does that do anything?
Delete the tokens from the map.
On the Lights tab, select the lights nearest the token and check the light On/Off setting (top right option just under color).
Check the same for the ambient light.
The lights are on the layer with the map, which is underneath everything else. It may be blocking the lights. Drag it to the top, just under Time of Day to see what that does.
And, of course, start the campaign with no extensions loaded.
If all that fails, zip the game and post it so someone can look at it.
