Anyone using the features in the title have probably experienced the same issue: intense lag whenever line of sight, and especially lighting, needs to be calculated. I’ve had a particularly bad time the more sources of light, and specifically the more creatures are currently mounting another.
As character tokens move, the map lags tremendously, making other players unable to move the map or move their tokens. I do not doubt that this is a difficult issue to solve, but oh my god is it laggy lol. It really is eating up a lot of time when we use maps during session, and it’s a bit frustrating to deal with. If there are ways to handle lag like this as a player, that would also be handy. But given that this is a problem for the entire playgroup regardless of computer specs, I think it’s a more systemic issue.

Try reducing CPU usage with /vsync and /imagequality commands https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/1638006786/Reducing+GPU+Usage
and use VISMAX effect for all players https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/1315930113/Player+and+NPC+Token+Vision+on+Maps

A lot of the load for LoS/lighting is dependent on the resolution of the map, and the number of tokens/lights on the map. What's the resolution of the map you are using, and how many tokens and lights do you have on the map?

If you have a campaign where this is reproduceable, you can zip up the campaign folder and provide via PM along with instructions on which map; and we can take a look.
