Playing FG without access to the router

I read on the boards that some people were using www.hamachi.cc to play behind a router without port forwarding.
Is there a chance that this program will allow me to host a session on a internet connection coming through a router I will not have access to, like a connection in a hotel ?

Technically it should work. The problem is that there is some overhead to VPN and many hotels’ bandwidth suck. It can’t hurt to try it, though.
