There's no 3.5 version of the Fiend Folio? Yes? No? I can't seem to find one.

True but I think you're supposed to get the 3.0 - 3.5 errata for the fiend folio if you want any specific 3.5 changes.

Being generous it's about 1.5 pages of updates and 3.5 pages of fluff/cover. Given the proximity that the Fiend Folio was released (the month before the core 3.5 books went out) and the lack of errata, I'd say it was pretty damn close to 3.5 compliant.

The Fiend Folio was a 3.0 book and like the MM2 was released so close to the change to 3.5 WotC did a Free D&D® V.3.5 Accessory Update. You can find the five page update on this page here: https://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/20030718a

I don't know why they did not combine the 3.5 update and errata in one document. I guess they were thinking they didn't want to upset the guys who stayed with 3.0. I remember being ticked when I had bought the MM2 and then found out 3.5 was coming out.

Not as ticked as I was when they released Savage Species and Arms & Equipment Guide as "3.5 ready" when they in no way were - with no conversion guides.

At least they've had the decency to stop making rules supplements 6 months before 4.0!

Back on topic, be aware that the 3.5 conversion docs do not cover converting psionic critters in MM2 and FF to the 3.5 psionics system. Another little thing to raise the 'ol BP a couple points, courtesy WotC.

I'm good on both counts: I don't use psionics and won't be playing 4E. I'll buy the core books, just to have, but not playing.
