Try Revert Changes on the image (via right mouse on the image list) or Revert changes on the entire module. Note, this will erase any changes you have made in the campaign to the map or module.

Thanks, did not you could do that. That fixed it. Now why would putting a mask on it cause that. I want to share it with my players and unmask it as they explore.

The images were moved to a different location and so if you made any changes to an image before the update then those would be fixed in the wrong location and so FG wouldn't be able to find them (changes you make to anything in a module are saved in a different place from your main campaign file so that updates to modules don't over write your edits in your campaign).
