This is an extension to allow GMs that are using the rules on the Player's Guide to the Kingmaker Adventure Path for Pathfinder 2E to record their data within Fantasy Grounds.
https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/918/view
I recorded this video showing the extension:
https://youtu.be/0ihOv3QuaAk
This is available today on the Forge for 1000 gold. If you find a bug, please report it here.
Cheers!

I just bought the Companion, and I will be updating the Kingdom Tracker to be compatible with the new data types defined there, but it might take a little while.
Edit: Looks like there isn't much to adapt from the Companion. :) Let me know if you pick up something.

The PF2 Kingmaker system is completely system agnostic -- why lock it to only load for PF2 campaigns?
I purchased it expecting to be able to include / run it in my PF1e campaign but no luck :/
Please add the option to load this module in PF1e as well

I do use some code from PF2 (to calculate successes and use the same underlying skill checks, parse attack lines from Armies, etc), but this very likely work with other rulesets. I'm on the process of testing that and I will update the extension if it is the case.
Regardless, Smiteworks is usually good with refunds. If you can't do it via the Forge, feel free to get in touch with their support. I will also clarify on the Forge that this extension is currently PF2 only.

Does the extension include the random monthly events? does it show the costs for buildings based on kingdom skill choices? its difficult to determine from the online examples. currently, tracking all the meta data with google sheets, having it inside FGU would be a big improvement.

It does not contain any data: no feats, no armies, no buildings information. Just fields to store your stats. I assume the data you describe will be part of the kingmaker campaign module once launched.

Hi, just providing an update on the system agnostic approach for Kingdom Maker Extension: unfortunately, creating a CoreRPG version of this extension would require me to duplicate code from PF2RPG ruleset (like proficiency cycler, action roll mechanisms and some minor widgets), so I have no plans to do so on a short plan. I might revisit this once I come back to the extension (likely when I acquire the official FG module so I'm capable of testing the integration between those).

I keep getting this [ERROR] Handler error: [string "C:kkm_skill:proflevel"]:21: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'lvl' (a userdata value)
It happens when i change skill Prof.

Thanks for reporting! This should be fixed, and manually hitting update should pull the 1.0.2 version. You might need to re-enable the extension.

ok, understandable. thanks for looking at it. You still have a buyer if it works with PF1e.

Hi Morenu -- I am releasing a similar, core rpg based extension to help with managing nations. It's currently pending review on the forge, but I am looking for a few "beta testers". DM if interested.

So, quick question regarding the kingmaker stuff:
What is actually required? The core rules I assume, kingmaker itself. Is the companion just that, adding companions? Is that necessary? And about other products, such as which bestiaries? All I own is the beginner's box, and I am going to buy the core rulebook for obvious reasons, see what my players what to play to see if I need to get any of the other books for their characters, BUT I didnt want to buy EVERYTHING, just what I need?
I ask here because I was already looking at this extension. On the other hand, though I'm an experienced GM, I am NOT experienced with PF2e, brand new to it, and only recently decided after considering Foundry vs this to use this (I AM experienced in FGU however); but I wonder if Kingmaker is biting off a little too much for a first time?

Kingmaker was the first campaign I ran for PF1e, so in my opinion it's not a bad choice. It is an absolute monster of campaign, though. Back in 1e it took my group three IRL years to finish it (admittedly this is counting an 8 month break), and the 2e version is longer. XD
The companion guide adds some NPCs and quests, which are nice, but honestly the best part of it is the rules for camping and weather. I'd suggest it just for that, if your players really want to get into the wilderness aspects of the campaign.
You don't need to buy any bestiaries unless you want to add or change monsters; the Kingmaker module will come with all the monsters you need to run it, as well as all the items and the like.
I'd say as a brand new PF2e GM Kingmaker is a little bit jumping in the deep end, but the campaign starts simply enough that I think it's fine. Especially with the new prologue the 2e version of Kingmaker added. It very much starts in the shallow end, and you don't have to worry about complicated stuff like kingdom building until a few levels later. :)

My players are occasionally having a weird error where they can't roll kingdom skills - when they try they get an error message. It only happens occasionally, but once it starts happening it persists until the player disconnects and reconnects. Oddly, when it does happen it doesn't effect every skill, only certain skills (often different each time).
Attached is a picture of the error we are getting.

It looks like that would happen for untrained skills. I added a fix (v 1.0.3), should be live in ~10min or so. Let me know if it fixes for you.

It never seemed to happen to me as the GM, only to my players, so I don't know that I'll have a good opportunity to test it until next session. However, thinking back, it happening with untrained skills sounds correct. Thanks for the quick fix!

I get the following two errors when opening the kingdom sheet, although there doesn't appear to be any loss of functionality:
anchor_title_partysheet - DEPRECATED - 2023-08-29 - Contact ruleset/extension/forge author
close_partysheet - DEPRECATED - 2023-12-12 - Contact ruleset/extension/forge author
Also, the tabs are not inheriting the new Pathfinder theme correctly and end up as black text on a dark background, making them very hard to read.

For the developer; for any tool windows, you should use "utilitybox" frame instead of "partysheet"; and you'll want to look at current implementations of utilitybox/partysheet for title and anchoring in the near future. Those templates have been deprecated since 2023-08, which the extra chat notice added in 2024-05. They will be removed in 2025 updates.

The extension's called "Kingdom Management". If you can't see that, what ruleset are you using?

### Tuskwater Exploration Encounters (Level 4, 5 PCs)
These encounters are designed for a post-Stag Lord Tuskwater hex crawl—focusing on swamps, lake shores, foggy islands, and dense woods. They're balanced for **Medium to Hard** difficulty (total adjusted XP ~1,000–2,000) using D&D 2024 rules, with a mix of combat, roleplay, and exploration. Roll a d20 or use hex features to trigger (e.g., 15+ on swamp travel). Each includes terrain, setup, resolution options, and rewards/hooks.
| # | Terrain | Description | Challenge (2024 Stats) | Rewards/Hook |
|---|---------|-------------|-------------------------|--------------|
| 1 | Swampy Lake Shore | The PCs hear croaking and splashing as they skirt a muddy inlet. Six **giant frogs** (CR 1/4, 50 XP each) leap from the reeds, drawn by vibrations—perfect ambush with tongues pulling PCs into melee. | Combat: 300 XP base (×2.5 mult. for 6 monsters = ~1,500 adj. XP, Hard). Frogs use *Pull* to drag into water (difficult terrain). | 100 gp in swallowed loot (coins, gems). Hook: Frog stomachs hold a nixie locket—wearing it summons a grateful water fey for a minor boon (e.g., *water breathing* 1/day). |
| 2 | Foggy Island | Ethereal singing echoes from a rocky outcrop. Two **harpies** (CR 1, 200 XP each) perch above, luring travelers to dash on jagged rocks below (DC 13 Athletics/Acrobatics or 2d6 falling dmg + prone). | Combat/Social: 400 XP base (×2 mult. = ~1,600 adj. XP, Hard). Harpies flee if half HP, dropping song-enchanted lyre. Roleplay: DC 15 Wis save vs. *charm* to resist joining their "choir." | Lyre (uncommon magic: plays *healing word* 1/day). Hook: Captured settler (Oleg's trader) reveals bandit holdout maps in Dunsward. |
| 3 | Overgrown Fey Glade | Twinkling lights lead to a circle of toadstools. Four **pixies** (CR 1/4, 50 XP each, invisible/resistant) play pranks—*polymorphing* gear into frogs, sleep gas, etc. They're bored fey testing "worthy" explorers. | Exploration/Social: Non-lethal (pixies flee combat). DC 14 Int (Nature/Arcana) to spot tricks; DC 16 Cha (Persuasion/Deception) to join game and win boon. Combat fallback: 200 XP (~1,000 adj., Medium). | Fey dust (3 uses: *invisibility* or *levitate*). Hook: Pixies gift "shortcut" path to hidden Tuskwater shrine (kingdom stability +1). |
| 4 | Sunken Logjam | A half-submerged raft blocks a channel, rigged with vines. Investigating triggers 2 **giant constrictor snakes** (CR 2, 450 XP each) and 4 **swarm of insects** (CR 1/2, 100 XP each) from hollow logs—venomous guardians of a forgotten cache. | Combat: 1,100 XP base (×1.5 mult. = ~2,000 adj. XP, Deadly but environmental aids). Water slows snakes; fire vuln. on swarms. | 250 gp treasure (potions: *water breathing*, *antidote*). Hook: Raft holds journal from Stag Lord's "ghost"—clues to haunted fort in next hex. |
| 5 | Misty Woodland Trail | A desperate **satyr** (CR 1/2, 100 XP) and 3 **wolves** (CR 1/4, 50 XP each) burst from bushes, fleeing a pursuing **shambling mound** (CR 5, 3,500 XP—solo Deadly, but weakened). Satyr begs aid. | Mixed Combat: Mound at 50 HP (1,750 XP base, ×1.5 w/ minions = ~1,900 adj. XP, Hard). Lightning feeds it; fire/bludgeoning vuln. Social: Aid satyr for alliance. | Satyr's panpipes (*charm person* 3/day). Hook: Grateful satyr offers fey scout services for kingdom (spy on boggards) or leads to herbalist's hut (+1 Economy event). |
**DM Tips**: Adjust for party comp (e.g., add 1-2 minions if martial-heavy). Use 2024 monster tweaks (e.g., harpies have *Lure* as bonus action). For non-combat resolution, award half XP. These tie into Kingmaker progression: fey for Oath of the Crown hooks, loot for building funds. Roll d6 for variety or chain 2-3 in a hex! Need stat blocks, maps, or more?
