I do my game background development as a reference manual in a campaign on PC W. I run the game at home on PC H. I export the ref manual as a module from PC W and import it to PC H on game day.

The other night during a game a player noticed some problems with the module that I corrected on the fly on PC H. I now want to bring the module version of the ref manual from PC H back to PC W to reflect the updates made on PC H.

Can I do that? I was hoping to find an XML file for the imported module on PC H, but I do not see one with the ref manual data in it.

No, it doesn't work that way. Think of a module as the final packaged product of a development campaign export.

There is a module database change file associated with each module loaded in a campaign to store campaign specific changes. So, you could potentially pull the XML data out of there, but there is not necessarily a direct mapping of data in the change file back to the campaign that created the module.

The change file is located in the moduledb subfolder of the campaign, if you want to view any changes made to the module. (It may be large, depending on how many maps involved.)

Thanks. I figured I had messed up when realized what I had done when I sat down to work on the other computer, but thought I'd grasp at some straws before going down.
