View Full Version : Unable to change Light Range settings

Hi,

I am unsure what I am doing wrong.

I’ve tried multiple times to change the parameters of the Light Range as described in the How Do I? “Unity Adding Lights Video” without success. Every time I change “Near Falloff” to a 1 it defaults back to 25, when I try to change “Far Falloff” same thing, unable to change settings. I've watched the How Do I? video multiple times, starting and stopping and cannot find the step I'm missing. But Near Falloff and Far Falloff always defaults back to the 25 and 50 settings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Try pressing enter after making a change. It's a recent issue that has cropped up, clicking somewhere else after a change makes it go back, but pressing enter should keep the setting.

Yes, we updated the Unity toolchain to the latest LTS version; and the image data panel uses some Unity controls that changed behaviors. v4.3.1 in the Test channel should resolve any fields that are doing this now.

Hi Moon Wizard and Sulimo, thank you both for your helpful information. Using enter rather than just clicking outside the change now allows me to change the parameters. I will also check out the test channel sometime soon. All the Best, Novacian aka Aulderyn
