Summary: The ! tag to bypass resistances does not work with persistent damage. (Specifically, if you set up an effect for PERS: 2d10 !fire, and then apply that to a creature, FG applies PERS: 2d10 fire instead, and the damage does not bypass the resistance.)
Ruleset(s): Pathfinder 2E
Extensions/Themes: None (brand new bare-bones campaign - also occurs in our GM's campaign, but I'm not sure what extensions/modules she has)
Modules Loaded: None
Operating System / Language Setting: Windows 10 / English
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an effect for PERS: 2d10 !fire.
2. Apply that effect to a creature.
3. Apply RESIST: 15 fire to the creature.
4. Advance past that creature's turn in the Combat Tracker to make the persistent damage apply.
EFFECT: The persistent damage is rolled, but is reduced by the creature's resistance.
(NOTE: The same results occur if the PERS: 2d10 !fire effect is added to the creature directly by the GM.)
