Hello all,
We are playing a campaign with alternating game masters. I would like to have all the notes that I have created in the game of one of the game masters also in all other games of the other game masters, because it is about the same campaign. Is there any module or trick how to import or share notes in FGU?
Thanks a lot for your help
Greetings from Germany

I have no reason why their /export command does not include notes (crazy really) but you can write an extension to do it is the only way I know. Or manually edit the db.xml file and copy the notes into the other GM's db.xml file (or if running the same exact game maybe copying the db.xml or even the whole campaign entirely?). I'm just not positive best make a copy of the campaign and experiment around with the copy.

Assuming you mean Notes and not Stories, notes can not be exported. They are stored in the campaign db so you can get to them if you want, but as SR says, either manually or via an extension.
But, if you know you are going to want to share info between GMs, you should probably just use Stories from the start. Or consider sharing the campaign directory (though do not use an actively sync'd cloud location for the campaign location.)

Notes are supposed to be for campaign-specific player and GM notes; Stories are supposed to be for GM-only notes.

As noted above notes are campaign specific and are not exportable; and furthermore players can't create story entries. Thus the player has no method of preserving anything from any one campaign. You would have to use a third party application - such as Google docs - or similar to keep notes outside of FGU in order to have them available over different campaigns.

@Moon,
Maybe a button that converts notes to stories would be useful?

You can already drag and drop notes and stories between the relevant campaign lists to make copies.

The GM can drag note entries to the Story window.

Is there a way to take the Calendar Logs to Stories or export separately.

Not without some sort of extension. The calendar and notes were designed for per campaign use.

You could always create story entries for them and then add it as a link to the log entry. Then they could be exported. The title I would suggest is the date and a header name of sort. Keeps them organized and also maybe creating a specific category for them to sit under in the story masterindex.
