I have purchased the ultimate license for my desktop and have set it up. I am trying to “train” myself to DM using the system and would like to set up my MacBook with a demo version so I can see a DM screen on my desktop and player screen on the MacBook
Will FG Unity allow this since email would be the same for both accounts? Or do I need to use a different email address to set up the demo player version on my Mac book? I assume I would have to create an additional user if for the MacBook demo/player acct

I think you need to make sure you do not enter your key on the Demo installation, that way it will still see it as a demo, but I am not certain.
You can run a second instance on your Windows PC (you can do it on a Mac as well, but it's a bit more convoluted.
After you start your campaign, launch Fantasy Grounds again (you can right-click it on the start menu and chose Fantasy Grounds from that menu), then join your campaign with the second instance. You will see things from the player perspective.

Thanks - I may need to check my "Ultimate" subscription as well because I know they sent me multiple keys and my launch screen shows:
version 4.2.2 STANDARD (2022-06-07) should it say ULTIMATE?

Got it figured out - purchased everything through Steam - they sent two activation codes: FG Unity and Ultimate Upgrade - I was able to find my ultimate upgrade key and cut and paste into the launch screen - now shows Ultimate, thanks for all the assistance!!!
