So I started playing around with the xml again today, and decided to start using TextPad. (I was using cooktop, but it is still fairly buggy).
I'm mostly wondering if anyone else out there has created a .syn file to highlight all the keywords used in the FG2 xml code. If not, I may post what I come up with.

To my knowledge no, but most of my team uses Notepad++, which has the XML tag information already in it and is probably just as good or better than Textpad.

I likewise endorse Notepad++.

Yeah, here is my endorsement for Notepad++ as well.

I own Textpad, and while it has its uses, consider this another vote for Notepad ++. A very nice tool, that also has the benefit of being free.

Well, you've all won me over. I now use notepad++. Once I found all the right buttons, it had everything I needed, plus color definitions for (most of) the xml.
Thanks all.
