Linux Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS: Font installer won't show Microsoft EULA in terminal

I wanted to install the FG Demo on my Linux Lite 5.4 computer. I learned that I needed to download the MS Core Fonts before starting the FGUWebInstall.bin. If I do start the bin file, it states that "The document was not UTF-8 valid."

I launced my Linux Lite Terminal and inputted the following commands: sudo apt-get install ttf-mscorefonts-installer sudo fc-cache. I have tried multiple times to download the font installer. For this newest attempt, I believe that I was available to download the font installer, but that was it. I did not see the MS EULA come up anywhere. I then inputted the sudo fc-cache, but nothing happened after. What should be my next steps? Did I do an error at any step? Thanks.

We use the Unity game engine to make Ubuntu builds of the product; and they state that just Ubuntu 18.04+ is required. Other than that, we do not have any Linux-specific developers to be able to easily investigate Linux issues, or to try to get our product working on other versions of Linux. You mentioned both Linux Lite 5.4 and Ubuntu 20.04.05, which are from different sources; and so I would classify as different OS versions.

I'm not sure why you need the MS core fonts installed, or why that is failing. That library is not needed for the Ubuntu installation that we are aware of.
Perhaps another Linux specific developer forum might have people who are more knowledgeable about that, or maybe the MS forums? It's not something that we would be able to help with.
