LoS Issue #6 - Selecting LoS points 6x slower with Lighting disabled

When you are selecting LoS points with "Enable/Disable Lighting" enabled, it is 720ms in my tests for a set of points. With it disabled it is over 6 times slower (and far less responsive overall) to select those same points.

The two sequences in the above .gif have a select, and unselect , change setting, then select, and unselect.
