Laptop and Large Screen Monitors for FG

Is anyone currently using a laptop to run FG on a large screen TV (50 inches)? Any issues with lag and overheating or recommendations on minimum specs? I'm currently carting my desktop for this purpose but want to get away from that.

I have done that for years. No issues at all.

11th Gen I7
16GB ram
512 SSD

Nothing special at all. Only time I have issues is when I have more than 6 players connecting remotely and it still manageable.

I also run Discord, Syrinscape and my browser.

I don't think the size of the second screen/monitor matter, only the resolution and refresh rate. I've never had a problem running my 55" TV off my laptop. It's about 10 year old Dell Precision M3800, i7-4712HQ @ 2.3 GHz, 16GB RAM, NVidia Quadro K1100M

i.e. You will want a graphics card if you are pushing two high resolution screens.

I am just using the built in Intel Iris xe. Nothing above board.

Good to know neither of you have had concerns. Need to go shopping now....wanted to wait until black Friday but I don't think I have the willpower ...

I always found even on a large UHD screen no issues. But I use \imagequality and \VSYNC to tweak the settings to be more friendly. I also use \scaleui to be 80 to really enjoy the real estate.
