Summary:

When a player views the calendar, indicators appear on any date that has a PLAYER log entry created by the GM. Dates with only a GM log entry do not get an indicator. Conversely, in the GM's client, both types of log entries are separately indicated on the calendar. When a player clicks on All Logs, they will see date entries for dates that have any log entry, including dates which only have a GM log, which is confusing to the players (it looks like a bug) and is potentially spoilery once the issue is explained to them (as it exposes that there is a GM log on those dates).

Ruleset(s):

Although I've only tested this with the 5E D&D rules active, it seems unlikely the problem is specific to any ruleset.

Extensions/Themes:

None (default)

Modules Loaded:

Any calendar module

Operating System / Language Setting:

MacOS 12.5.1
"English (Canada)" OS language settings

Steps to Reproduce:

As the GM:

Create a GM log entry on day 1
Create a PLAYER log entry on day 2

As the player:

Observe that the calendar will show a dot on day 2 indicating a player log entry on that date, but no dot on day 1
Click on the All Logs button
Observe that the log list will indicate there are log entires on day 1 and day 2
Click on the link for day 1
Observe that the log entry for that day is blank

This is confusing to the player, as it looks like there's a bug in the logs (the All Logs page shows there is a log on a day there is no log). Once the GM explains the issue to the player, then they player is aware that the GM has logged something on that day, which may spoil things if the player is able to guess why that day may have been important to the GM.
