My cleric went to prepare spells tonight, and when in preparation mode in the actions tab of his character sheet, there are no buttons to click to prepare spells- they are simply not there. When going to "combat" mode, it shows stars next to every spell, as if they are all prepared. Anyone else seen this?

Is there a number in the Preparation field of the spell class details?

Yes, this was happening automatically at one point, but something changed over the last few months. I noticed this and asked Zacchaeus for advice. He told me to enter the max number of total spells into the Spells Metadata area and the preparation bubbles will appear. I am not sure why this had changed, but one did not have to set this or mess about with this unless you made your own custom spell group in the actions tab. This change occurred back in May or June when I started to notice.

Zacchaeus (probably) said put any number in the prepared box. :)

Furthermore this is working for me (that is the prepared box is populated for a Cleric) whether I create the character via the Character Wizard or via drag and drop. So it must be something specific to how this character is being created or its an extension that's the problem.

I am not sure what you guys are referring to when saying "spell metadata area" and "Prepared box"?

Ah wait I think I see it. The magnifying glass next to the header area in the actions tab that says spells! I'll try that and report back (it IS empty btw)

EDIT 2: FIXED! I put a "1" in there and viola!!! Working as intended!

Quick question: what IS that box for? Should I be putting any other number in there besides 1? He is a 12th level cleric

Normally, what would go in there is the number of spells that can be prepared for that level.

Any number will do. It's only purpose is to indicate that this character needs to prepare their spells.
