Identify an item

From what I can tell the closest spell is bard's "item lore" list and "item analysis", however it is a 50th level spell(!) to know all the attributes 100%. Why so difficult?

Attunement(Staves and Wands) for Id’ing items with RM2 Power Perception for ensuring they’re even magical in the first place.
Otherwise, you’re right ID’ing things/abilities with RM Spells was always way too future-proofed for being out of reach.

Due to this, I always went with the old 50GP to ID an item a la 2eD&D if a player(s) never invested in the skills that could help…don’t forget a successful Meditation check gives a +25 to Attunement! Yup
