Spell Token Options for Fantasy Grounds Unity (DnD5e Ruleset mainly)
This topic can be very elusive, diverse, and NOT a one-solution-fits-all situation or need.
Some of the content listed herein might work for other rulesets, especially the free and non-extension solutions.
Some options are free, some have costs, and some are more or less GM intensive.
This sort of thing does require familiarity with the FGU platform and the assets used to achieve these options. Most of the options cover the DnD5e Ruleset.
However, some of the links below are more universal or diverse than other options.

Create, buy, or find your token art assets, add them to FGU in the tokens folder in the FGU data area and add them to a map for your players.
