Hello. I believe this may be a bug since in the latest version (5E Ruleset 2022-07-26) NPC spells are not being populated from their Spellcasting trait. I have quadruple-checked the spelling and wording of the trait, I have also tried copy-pasting it from the Spellcasting section on the Atlassian page on 5E Effects for Advanced Automation. The spells are not being populated when the NPC record is closed and re-opened (there are no existing spells in the record). Adding the NPC to the combat tracker correctly populates the CT entry spells, but the spells are still non-existent on the NPC page record.

I'm testing on a brand new campaign with no extensions enabled. The 5E SRD modules and the D&D Player's Hand Book are the only loaded modules. There are no chat or console messages being outputted related to the issue.

Behavior has changed. They are only populated when added to the CT or when you right mouse select Reparse Spell Actions. There is a discussion around here somewhere :)

Thanks so much! I wasn't aware of the change.
