Queastion with creating a map from a picture

Hello,

I have created a map from a picture off of the web. Gone through and imported it, started to draw the walls around it. But for some reason the walls do not stop my PC or NPC tokens. What am I missing here? I have spent the last few days looking for an answer but have come up with bumpkis. The grid works, can place tokens on it but the walls or windows or doors simply do not function?

On the main editor tab, do you have enable/disable LOS turned on? It should be darker like so:
