I am unable to export characters from Fantasy Grounds Unity. Whether I use the export button on the character list or use the /exportchar command from chat, FG just crashes, and nothing is exported.

MOD: I moved this post to its own thread and into the HoH. The thread you posted in is more about bugs with 5E DLC.
First thing to check, does this happen in a new campaign with no extensions? You may have to re-enable extensions one by one to find the issue.
Second, ave you updated FG? i.e. what version are you on?
Third, if you are still having a problem, can you export your lgs and post here? Link below has a link on how to Compile Logs. We also might need to look at your operating system logs since it is an application crash.

Can you pull the logs after restarting Fantasy Grounds right after the crash?
(Press the Console button in upper left of FG launch screen, and click the Compile Logs button.)

Yes, this is a new game with no extensions loaded. I created a character for testing, and tried to export it when I ran into the problem.

I forgot to add, this is Fantasy Grounds Unity linux version, running under Ubuntu 22.04

What is supposed to happen when I click Compile Logs, because nothing is happening that I can tell. In any case the log doesn't show any errors, it just says:

That did work. When I started FGU using the command in the terminal, I was able to export the character successfully. According to one of the logs I found, both my displays are XWAYLAND 22 : 1920x1080

Yeah, it's a limitation of the current file dialog library we have. There is no official Unity asset to support file dialogs in XWayland on Linux currently. We're going to have to go back and look at options next time I get cycles to look at OS-specific issues.
