Player connects but can’t see anything. We have been playing for months now.

Player connects to campaign but cannot see anything, the sidebar is empty, module activation page is empty. All 3 other players are not having any issues please help

Ask the player to come out of Fantasy Grounds and then navigate to their data folder (click the folder icon to left of the start screen to get to this). Go into the cache folder and delete the folder inside that with your campaign name on it. Then have them reconnect.

It also looked like him being on a different VPN then he normally used caused a problem as well. He has modules now but still maybe no character sheet, will try this new thing and let you know if it works. He did go to the settings tab and did a full clear cache, clear settings, and a full uninstall re-install (full scrub he’s a software engineer) and we were still having the same issues. Hoping now the VPN is off it will work

Same thing happened to one of my players he connects can’t see what he’s typing roles any modules even things that I created in the game he can’t see they can’t even see a character sheets. We’ve tried the going to the folders and deleting everything and it doesn’t work either way and I don’t know what to do.

This post is 4 years old. You're typically much better off posting to a new thread, than such an old thread.

As per the original poster, the issue was a VPN that was causing networking issues; so try having your player turn off any VPNs.
Otherwise, the issue is usually security software or network router settings blocking or throttling data. We have a Troubleshooting article here for guidelines on the kinds of settings to look for: content filtering, QoS settings, SPI filters, etc.
