Launchpad problems - Mac

Fantasy Grounds will not appear on the launchpad. The updater appears there but only in the folder Smiteworks. How do I add Fantasy Grounds to the launchpad and remove the Smiteworks folder and launcher app?

It looks like Launchpad only works by default with apps downloaded from the Apple App Store.
