Evening everyone!

I didn't found my case in healing house so here it is:

Installed FGU recently from steam than webinstall launched and did what he need. All right till this point.
Then "Launching Fantasy Grounds Updater", validate, cursor show that it's working backstage............. and nothing.

So far I've tried:
-waiting 10 minutes to no avail, not even a crash popup
-deleting everything related, appdata included, uninstall from steam and redo all from scrach => exactly the same
-deleting just part of it and redo => nothing different
-deleting everything and changing install files => same ****

Looked in "C:\Program Files\SmiteWorks\Fantasy Grounds" between each try (following another post from this forum) and "FantasyGrounds.exe" never ever existed once.
Anti-virus show no problem and I tried to put him to sleep before installing > nothing

Quite lost here, someone got the same?
dropped my log in attachements if it help

Thanks in advance everyone!

Welcome Momory

What AV do you have? Can you try excluding the C:\Program Files\SmiteWorks\Fantasy Grounds\ folder?
Can you try running the installer from this website rather than the steam one?

Thank you :D

I run on windows 10 basic security, didn't found any excluding option in it tho.
I tried just now and not much success from it...

There’s also a FantasyGroundsUpdater.exe file in the same directory that is what is the step between the client and the FGUpdaterEngine. It handles the self-updating piece of the updater engine; and can be separately affected.

Try manually starting that file. If it doesn’t work to start updater, then make sure it is not being blocked by security software. Also, you can delete, run FGUpdaterEngine.exe and let it redownload.
