I was just thinking ...
In many game system (i'm thinking about d20 based games system but others should apply) a lot of characters have special gauges depending on their classes. These scores will frequently change during the game session. I'm thinking about barbarian rages in D&D, solarian attunment for Starfinder etc.
Some of these have already been coded on character sheets, and it's great. For the others, i am looking for some way to track these scores manually into FGU (some of them, like solarian attunment, would really be a pain the *** to code ...)
Could we have some "blank" gauges for characters that we could ctrl+wheel to manage these ever changing scores ?

For some rulesets, it's actually quite easy to place a new text box containing a custom stat on a character sheet. It's often done by just editing or creating simple XLM templates, with next to no coding. I'm most experienced with the Savage World rulesst, but even adding a new derived stat that calculates its base value based on other stats, can be done with just a few lines of code and the creation of a simple XML template.

Just add a new power and if you want power group to the actions tab of the character sheet. Give it a number of uses per short or long rest etc (depending upon ruleset) and then check them off just like you would do a spell or ability like Divine Intervention. See the various character creation tutorials or the wiki on how to do this. If you need a specific link, just let us know what ruleset :)

Micro-managing anything for an RPG is very common. Fantasy Grounds can accommodate some or most of these types of things, but some effort and work still need to be applied, regardless. Even though VTTs are somewhat automated and easier in some regards, I think we tend to expect much more as we get more comfortable with any digital tool. There is some amount of human interactions, practice, and familiarity that comes over time that still must happen, even with a modern VTT. If you have been using Fantasy Grounds for a while, you will get better and more resourceful over time. Nothing will replace putting in your time and practice. Do you play often? Are you running games now? How many days per week are you usually interacting with Fantasy Grounds when you can?
Best of Luck,
