I just purchased the Barbarians of Lemuria ruleset and updated my FGU with it, made sure the module for it is loaded. But there appears to be something wrong with it - there's no Character section for the side-bar menus for creating characters at all, the NPCs and Items section under Campaign are completely empty also?

Expand the "Player" sidebar to see "Characters".

Access other data (weapons, etc.) from within the Library -> Modules -> Barbarians of Lemuria library entry.

NPCs are in the "Creatures of Lemuria" and "The Sagas of Krongar" modules that you need to activate to access the data.

No, i'm talking about the Character section that would normally contain Race, Class, Abilities, etc in most rulesets, not the Characters and Notes section that is under Player. I'd expect at least the Boons and Flaws to be in such a section and maybe Spells.

Why wouldn't the weapons and such be done as items like it most other rulesets?

Thank you for the bit about the Creatures and Saga - I've got so many mapping things showing up as available modules it makes it difficult to wade through so many pages hunting for the correct modules to load for a ruleset at times.

Thanks for clarifying. Just like weapons, the character related data is accessible from within the library:
