Damage Resistance Negation

Hey All, I have a player who is a sorcerer and apparently Soul of the Cosmic Cycle and that lets him ignore a monsters resistance to whatever damage type he's getting from it. I cant figure out how to make that work. At first I thought about doing a "IF target has resistacne do extra damage) but then the power doesnt know the exact level of the monsters resistance and how much to ignore. Anybody have any ideas?

I think this is among the 10% events that can't be dealed with.

One way to avoid the resistance damage of a monster is doing non-type damage if the resistance is on a type (fire, cold, radiant, necrotic etc) or vice-versa.

Or you have to compensate by hands on the HPs of the monster in the Combat Tracker.
