I noticed there isn't any images for the included adventure. Is this correct or a mistake?

Unfortunately that is correct. There were images presented, but didn't feel to help the story. I did place the images from that section in other relevant sections of the core rulebook.

Agreed... Despite making such great games, Modiphius rarely considers the "in-play" presentation of their products...
