I had an issue today where I could not load any modules in 2E that were shared by the GM except for the PHB. (which i own as well)

As you can see in the screenshots it alternated between reporting that the modules shared by the GM were not available and offering me a link to the store to reporting that they were loaded when they were not. At one point it also indicated that the PHB was disabled by the GM when it was not.

Thinking it might be a network issue we tried a couple other rulesets (Castles & Crusaders and D&D 5E) and both of those functioned as they should and let me load modules without any issues. This is also when we noticed that 2E was not even showing the artwork of the modules it had listed as being shared.

I also tried a new account to see if it maybe had something to do with me owning the core 2E books, but it also ended up with the exact same issue of no modules from 2E being loadable. This time I could also not load the PHB.

Really at a loss of what could cause this. Has anyone else ran into anything similar? Particularly with AD&D 2E?

Did he try unloading all the extensions and trying again?

Also could other players load modules?

We had this issue a few weeks ago using OSE but it was one player on a brand new computer. The other players loaded up ok.

I believe that he did disable extensions early on.

And another player seems to have had no issues loading modules. Not sure the details on that, it was an existing player who was already in the campaign.

I'm going to try uninstalling FGU, removing its folders and cleaning out my registry and reinstalling.

As an addendum: We tried starting a fresh 2E campaign and everything worked fine. It is only the existing campaign that we have any problems with.

On the computer of the player who's having the issue, go to <FG app data>\cache and delete the directory with the name of the campaign. Then try joining the GM's campaign again.

Get to <FG app data> by clicking the folder icon in the top left of the main FG startup screen.

Have the players delete their cache and then rejoin your campaign. Give it time for everything to download and only have one player join at a time.
