I am brand new to Fantasy grounds and will be starting as a player next week. I normally play in Foundry and this is an example Macro that I would use:
Sting Autofire (5 Shots)Attack:
OCV 8 +4 Versus Range Mod = Hits DCV [[19-3d6]] or LESS
Stingers each [[2d6]] Killing Damage
Stun Modifier [[1d6]]
No Knockback
DCV 6
The 1st line is text. 2nd line is text and then a hit roll. 3rd line is text with a damage roll. 4th line is subsequent damage roll and finally info about the attack and the characters defenses at the end of his attack.
Can this be duplicated for a Hotkey in Fantasy grounds for a Hotkey even if it is not written the same? but multiple rolls with a message describing what the roll is/does?

What ruleset? What is the macro supposed to do?

I am literally 20 minutes into my learning curveset for Fantasy Grounds so I may not have all your answers. But the game is a custom game to some degree for the Hero System. But in any rule set is there a way to write a macro in Fantasy grounds that shows you rolled for say 3 or 4 or more actions and a message or note that tells what each of these rolls do? and then load that as a Hotkey?

I have no idea whay you are asking. If you are the player then I assume there is a GM that knows what the ruleset they are playing is and how it works. So perhaps ask them or if there is a thread for this ruleset on these forums ask there and someone who has played it before might be able to help.

Essentially no; FG doesn't use Macros. It does have an effect system and all attacks, saves, damage rolls etc are done from the character sheet. Without knowing the exact system (ruleset) you are using it's hard to point you in the right direction - but here's a link to the CoreRPG system documentation https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/996642755/CoreRPG+Ruleset

As others have mentioned, rulesets within FG use coding based on that particular ruleset for what is available. As an example would be 5e has an actions tab where players can setup the macros you have presented using it's built in mark up. Here is a link to that markup.

The wiki also provides further information for other systems that are available as rulesets that require these markups and the wording needed to accomplish things. Please don't hesitate to ask more questions to help your gaming experience as players may have more power than meets the eye.
