Hey guys, I was wondering when prepping encounters and dragging tokens over to the map. Is there a way to make it where some tokens are already visible to the characters when you load them into the combat tracker and keep other tokens hidden? Generally when I drag the tokens into the positions I want them on the map and load them into CT (combat tracker) the tokens are loaded in and are hidden to the characters right from the get go. I'm also not playing with the LOS tool, pretty new to FGU so just trying to get some of the basic stuff down.

Welcome to FGU.
No you can't designate hidden and unhidden tokens just from the encounter. All tokens are hidden when first placed on the map/combat tracker. You can then either make all of them visible using the the icon at the top of the CT or you can click the eye icon next to each token on the CT to toggle its visibility. If you do use line of sight then tokens not directly in any PC tokens sight range will not be seen on the map irrespective of their visibility state on the CT.

Hello and welcome to FG.
Once you get familiar with FGU and understand more of the in and outs, there are extensions, some free or paid, that can help with some things that are not in FGU. One such extension lets you prep encounters and with a click of a button on your map makes them appear in the combat tracker. I use it along with just a few other extensions (I have been using FGU for little over a year). Here is the link for that extension in the Forge...https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/337/view
Again, welcome to a great community and good luck gaming!
