I will look at it this weekend, pretty excited to see this as it is the OSR ruleset I use the most.

Can it be used to play Whitebox games like Whitestar and Operation:Whitebox?

I am not familiar with that game. It's based off of SW vanilla rules. If you read the books he gives optional rules for things but I tried to go with base rules or what was suggested by the author as best practice.

Quite a few RPG take the base Whitebox rules (which are also Mythmere and Matt started there) and add classes and such suites to it.

As an example:

Like many, based on this:

That's pretty neat. So you can create any custom class you want. The attack tables are hard coded in and on the data tab for the class record is a "fight as" field. You will have to play around with it.

Here is the "To Hit" table for WWII Operation Whitebox compared to standard classes:

Level 1 2 3 4 5
Cleric 10 10 9 9 8
Fighter 10 9 8 7 6
MU/Thief 10 10 10 9 9

Charmer 10 10 9 9 8
Cbt Engin 10 10 9 9 8
Grunt 9 8 7 6 5
Maquis 10 10 9 9 8
Sniper 10 9 9 8 8
Tactician 10 9 8 8 7
Wheelman 10 9 9 9 8
Uberlaufer 10 9 8 8 7

The basic standard for rules based on S&W (whitebox) is to have a Basic Hit Bonus (BHB) or Basic Attack Bonus (BAB) and a level table. This does not exactly align with the 3 standards in S&W Complete (not sure why you have more than 3 choices). As this is hard coded into the ruleset, it makes addition of additional classes that do not follow the scores exactly harder to just add. This is used by Operation Whitebox (WW2), White Star (SF) and Eldritch Tales (Cthulhu). Most of the above examples map to cleric, but not all of them.

For class abilities, there does not appear to be a way to just type them in (which is different than character sheet which also seems to let you just type something in). I can create "skills" from the right side menu and drag and drop those, but not 100% certain what the intention is here for the skills as some reskins of the base S&W rules have a skill list.

How can you tell you are spoiled? When the developer pings you on discord and we work through how things work and discover something was not quite what it should be.

For class abilities it is a right click and add items.

Updated to support: WW2 Operation White Box(AAC) Selection made in options menu.

This changes rollers the character sheet and more.

Nice addition of White Star framework as well. Ruleset is supportive of broader S&W Whitebox level rules as well.

4/23/22- Update
- Lots of minor bug fixes/typos.
-[Updated] Party sheet functionality to automatically assign XP to characters
- Added White Star in options menu
- Added vehicles. Vehicles can now be dropped onto character sheets and rolled from there on CT (targeted and untargeted rolls). The vehicle record itself can also be dropped onto the CT. Vehicle damage and attacks are automated for White Star, WW2, and SW(siege weapons/ships) on the CT. I plan on continuing to add to this functionality. Damage reduction and protection are automated. Shields for Star Ships will need to be tracked manually. I may go back and add this.

Of note SW uses the tables presented in the Swords and Wizardry Boxed set(Descending AC). The other two white box games I use AAC.
