View Full Version : [BRP] Missile weapons use the wrong damage bonus dice (problem was fixed in May 2021)

Hello!

I've run into a problem with the Basic Roleplaying (BRP) ruleset. In BRP, when a character is large an strong enough, the character receives a damage bonus, in the form of a dice, that is added to the damage done. When a missile weapon the damage bonus is halved. For example, a character has a damage bonus of +1d4 when using melee weapons, when using missile weapons the damage bonus should be +1d2.

However, that is not the current behavior. I have added a image, below, showing how this currently works, note how the d4 returns 3. It's no problem that the d4 model is used, it just shouldn't roll a d4, it should roll a d2.

This problem was fixed, last year in May, but now it has popped up again. See the earlier conversation about this problem here:

I was able to verify and found the issue. An update will be pushed with the next weekly update.
