Program shortcut being update repeatedly

It seems that the program shortcut is updated/replaced every time the Updater is run? Is there a reason for this? Because I use the shortcut to start FGU maximized I now set it to read-only.

I am not seeing it on Windows, and like the OP I have the shortcut set to Maximize on launch, I've had it set that way for well over a year without any issues.

Of course, just after performing an update, it will re-launch (but not via the shortcut), so it will not be maximized at that point.

There is code in the updater to refresh the extension shortcut on launch in order to make sure that the default shortcuts match the app folder location. (since some people like to change this)

If you rename the shortcut link it should no longer be affected.
