Heya
I'm homebrewing some elemental resist armors that instead of the usual resist reduce incoming damage of a certain type by the amount of a dice roll. Would the FGU syntax bend to this? I couldn't come up a similar case to try and copy cat it, neither could I spot something like that on the wiki. I have a feeling it's gonna be a no, but no harm in making sure. An example case would be an enemy casting burning hands on you. There is 3d6 fire damage coming your way. As you take the damage, you would ideally automatically roll a 1d6 and reduce it from the incoming damage.
Thank you for any advice!
