View Full Version : Do ranged weapons get raise damage in Pathfinder for SWADE?

My friends and I are starting up a game and during a trial combat we noticed that the composite bow wasn't receiving the d6 ranged damage that a weapon normally gets. We thought this was odd, since the melee weapons seemed to still have raise damage listed on their stats, and the rules aren't clear about ranged attacks getting a raise or not. We played Deadlands a few months ago so I am a bit rusty on the SWADE rules, but I thought I remembered guns getting raise damage (and upon double-checking they do). Is this just an oversight, and the raise damage was missed and needs to be added back in, or is there some rule that we are missing?

All attacks that cause damage do additional damage on a raise. So the bow should get that extra d6.
In experimenting, there are various weapons that do not automatically fill the d6 raise damage when dropped on the character sheet. They should not be blank. That includes the three bows in the SWADE list.
Congrats! You found a bug!
