FGU - Open Folder to Extension

So it appears,

When I open up FGU and click on the folder icon in the upper left corner to get to my extension folder

It opens explorer after explorer until my PC crashes. It looks like it is trying to open every drive I have again and again until it crashes, but it happens pretty quickly and every windows that opens interrupts any operation I'm trying to do so troubleshooting it is awkward.

For the record:
I uninstalled FGU and reinstalled and now it's working as expected.

Does the same happen if you browse to your extensions folder outside of FG?

No, it worked fine if I browsed to it outside of FGU.

It was very strange how it happend - the left column of explorer with all my drives would shift around like they were being expanded and shrunk and then a new window would open.

It also tried to open I drive, only I have no I drive, so it just produced a windows explorer window with an error in it. it was all happening very rapidly.

I think I've heard of this previously, or at least something similar.

Do you have any game controllers attached to your computer?

If so, try to disconnect it.

I don't, but I do have external USB hard drives attached to my system.

That kind of thought crossed my mind, as sometimes things can get weird when you leave them attached.

I guess it is an issue with W11. I had a similar issue with right-clicking in Windows Explorer. This might help:
