Are the features in FGU apical in all rulesets? For example : does line of sight function the same in Dungeon and Dragons 5E and Traveller 2?

Yeah there are some minor differences in features from one ruleset to the next but lighting, vision, los are pretty uniform.

Most rulesets are based off the CORERPG ruleset. i.e. they are child rulesets. Therefore they have all the features and behavior of Core, wit the exception of whatever the ruleset changes.

So, if you want to view generic behavior, use CoreRPG. You can then unpack the child ruleset and verify it is a child of Core, and see what changes have been made specific to that ruleset. Just make sure to rename the unpacked folder or delete it as it will not get updates.

For instance, D&D 3.5 is a child of CoreRPG, and Patfinder 1E is a child of D&D 3.5.
