Warning: The attached screenshots in this post contain potential spoilers for 5E Tomb of Annihilation.

Ran into a situation during a session where I needed to delete some line of sight points on a map during live play. I'm pretty sure I've read not to do this because it might cause issues with Line of Sight, which is what happened. Anyways, I thought it was worth reporting because it's pretty easy to re-create the issue.

There are two issues shown here. The first is that the player token can see (and move) through line of sight walls. The second is that the DM Player-Vision Preview does not match what the players were actually seeing. So from the DM perspective, everything looks like it's working (and the DM can't move the token through the wall as expected), but from the player end things are broken.

Here are steps to recreate in a new 5E campaign with no extensions. Note the following screenshots contain spoilers for Tomb of Annihilation.

DM: Load Tomb of Annihilation module
DM: Open map "Player Map - Gears of Hate"
DM: Add a PC token from CT to the map that has Darkvision 60, and place it in this location: Setup-DM.JPG (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=51981)
Player: Join as a player from another FGU client, take ownership of the PC.
DM: Share the map
Player: The current player view looks like: Setup-Player.JPG (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=51982)
DM: Delete these 4 points in the green square: Delete-Points-DM.JPG (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=51983)
DM: After delete, the player vision preview looks as expected: After-DM.JPG (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=51984)
Player: After delete, the player can actually see through the wall behind it: After-Player.JPG (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=51985)

The player can move their token into the revealed area (the walls don't block movement) but the DM cannot move the token there.

It's also worth noting that re-adding the token to the map (from the CT) does not fix the issue. The map needs to be un-shared and re-shared.
