Newer user, old DM. I am running a campaign for my wife and youngest son. My wife has expressed interest in playing an Adult game. (not lewd, just more thinking, less murder hobo) Somehow word of this has gotten around my family and social circle. Understandably a bunch of 40-somethings don't want to play elementary school depth plots. Many of them have not played in ten years or more, and I am excited that these fine folk have good enough memories of D&D in our youth to be jazzed about playing now. Enough background, the gist of the post is as follows:
My son's game is set up and we have been playing for about 2 months. All is good there. A few custom items are included for specific use in those games. NP, NP.
The game I want to run for the Adult Game would be completely different. Same world, but inclusions of some more exotic races. I want to run a version of Reverse D&D where the PCs are monsters looking to defend their home, learn why these evil human "monsters" are encroaching, etc. For this, I will need to create a bunch of custom content. This itself is no biggie either. But, I'd like to keep all this content for the World for possible later use.
How do I make module so I can move this from campaign to campaign, or is there an easier way to do it? I tried looking to google, but I just can't seem to frame my query right. Any help would be appreciated.
