Level Up from EN Publishing ruleset

I'm putting this here because I don't see a thread dedicated to Level Up yet.

I saw the new ruleset for Level Up: Advanced 5e. Has anyone tried it out yet? Also I know they say that the monsters from the monster manual can be used as is for the system but would that work with the ruleset or do you have to get the menagerie.

As noted in the thread that LE linked for you; you can use all your existing 5e stuff with the level up stuff. The only thing you would not really be able to do is multiclass characters with partly Level up and Partly standard 5e ones. Advanced 5e isn't a ruleset but there is an extension which allows a lot of the things to work inside the 5e ruleset. Watch the two videos linked at the top of that thread for more details.
