And now if someone else has a similar issue, they won't find a solution and have to ask the same question.

Providing a solution would be better than editing your post.

The FG update appears to work with new spellcasting "format", so I'd rather have a moderator delete the post.

Old NPC statblocks- Spellcasting was entered into "Traits"

New NPC statblock - Spellcasting is entered into "Actions". If entered into "Actions" entitled as Spellcasting, with the new reduced language, FG will read it as spellcasting and spells will work.

By the new reduced language, I mean the author does not include the level of spellcaster, nor what school of spells. It is a subtle difference, but if the new wording is entered into "Traits" it did not work. I got myself very confused trying to get this all to work properly, so I may be way off base...FG may have always accepted it as an "Action". Thus my post may be a complete waste of bytes.
