Automatic Effect Rolls in D&D 5E do not roll dice.

Using the Action Tab in the Character Sheet, the clicking on the saving throw button does not roll. Only shows the DC number in the chat window.

Made a couple of new characters and since then, over the last session saving throws do not work.

Welcome to FG.

It doesn't look like you targeted anything when you made the save. The PC will need to be on the Combat Tracker and have targeted an enemy before the dice will roll and make the saving throw.

That was it. Just had a brain fart and needed another set of eyes. Works the way I expected now. Was testing all the aspects of the new character and forgot about the targeting. Thanks.
